Should I Join Riverside Physician Network?
As
a member of Riverside Physician Network, you have the
option of selecting a Riverside Physician Network doctor
at an office in your neighborhood.
You can visit your primary care physician as often
as necessary. Look
to your physician partner to provide you not only
with routine care that helps keep you healthy and well,
but to coordinate any medically necessary and covered
specialty care should the need arise.
When you see
your physician, a co-payment is all that may be required
at the time of your visit. The Co-payment amount,
if there is one, is determined by your health plan.
When you need other services or specialty care, you’ll
have access to RPN’s broad network,
convenient after-hours care, disease management programs,
health
education,
laboratory, radiology, highly qualified specialists,
premier hospital partners and more!
How Do I Enroll?
If you are not already a member, joining is probably
easier than you think because most
health plans include Riverside Physician Network
doctors in
their provider networks and you may be able to choose
your RPN physician with just a phone call.

Financial Incentive Attestation
Riverside Physician Network’s procedures for reviewing
appropriateness of care are aimed at promoting quality of
care and efficiency within the health care delivery process.
We recognize the need for concern about the potential for
under-utilization and appropriate review, which includes
but is not limited to bed day data reports, length of stay
reports, pharmacy usage reports and data on member concerns
regarding access to services.
As a matter of policy, associates who make utilization management
coverage decisions for Riverside Physician Network may not be compensated
or given other incentives to make decision. Utilization decision making
is based solely on medical necessity, appropriateness of care and service
and existence of coverage.
Riverside Physician Network does not specifically reward practitioners
or other individuals for issuing denials of coverage or service care.
