HMO Plans - HMOs provide a form of health
insurance in which members, often through an employer, prepay
a premium for health services, which generally includes
inpatient and ambulatory care. Health services are accessed
through the Primary Care Physician chosen from the health
plan's Provider Directory. For patients, it means reduced
out-of-pocket costs (i.e., no deductible), no paperwork
(i.e., insurance forms), and only a co-payment for each
office visit, prescription and hospital visit. Riverside
Physician Network accepts the following health plans:
Senior HMOs - Medicare + Choice Plans
- Provides more health care benefits than original Medicare
provides with low or no plan premiums and co-payments (You
must be entitled to Medicare Part A and continue to pay
Part B premiums). The senior plans generally offer additional
benefits beyond those offered in the commercial HMO. For
patients, it means reduced out-of-pocket costs (i.e., no
deductible), no paperwork (i.e., insurance forms), and only
a co-payment for each office visit, prescription and hospital
visit.
